Archie Bray Foundation - Founded in 1951, the Bray is a non-profit, educational institution dedicated to the enrichment of the ceramic arts, offering residencies and specialized workshops to ceramic artists from around the world. Located on the 26-acre site of the former Western Clay Manufacturing Company, the Bray facilities include class facilities, a sales gallery, a summer warehouse gallery and more.
Art Museum of Missoula - The Art Museum is committed to educating the community through art and to developing and conserving the Art Museum Collection in order to preserve and make accessible their unique cultural heritage. The Art Museum develops and hosts 12 to 16 exhibitions annually in three galleries located in a 1903 Carnegie Library building.
The Arts Chateau Museum - The museum is a 26-room, four floor historic mansion built by Charles Walker Clark in 1898. Presently the museum has two changing exhibition galleries, one permanent collection gallery, a sales gallery, and a new interactive youth project room. The museum houses a diverse collection of artwork, 18th and 19th century furniture, textiles, and collectibles on display throughout the mansion.
Big Sky Waterpark - Big Sky Waterpark is the largest Water Park in Montana! CM Russell Museum - Established in 1953, the C.M. Russell Museum owns the most complete collection of Charles Russell art and personal objects in the world. The permanent collection is comprised of over 12,000 art works and objects.
Central School Museum - The Northwest Montana Historical Society Central School Museum offers a variety of historical photographs, as well as many implements of the farming and logging industries, a fire wagon from 1893, and other items representative of the lives of predecessors in Northwest Montana.
Conrad Mansion National Historic Site Museum - The Conrad Mansion sits proudly today on the edge of the original townsite, atop a bluff overlooking the valley and the Swan mountain range. The home is located on three landscaped acres and features original furnishings and accessories, extensive collections include original family clothing, dating from the 1880s to 1940s, and three generations of children's toys and dolls.
Crazy Mountain Museum - The Crazy Mountain Museum is a historical museum featuring exhibits that reflect the history of Sweet Grass County and the surrounding area.In addition to displays, it now includes a research area, including a large master index for individuals mentioned in a wide variety of documents and pictures.
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort - Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is cradled by the Continental Divide, located between Butte and Anaconda Montana. Fairmont is a year round, full service Hot Springs and Convention Resort with an 18 hole golf course available March through October. Fairmont features two Olympic sized swimming pools, two soaking pools and a 350 foot enclosed waterslide.
Fly Fishing Discovery Center - A museum and education center operated by the Federation of Fly Fishers. Fly fishing exhibits chronicle the history of fly fishing with displays of rods, reels, lines, float tubes and an extensive collection of outstanding art. Thousands of flies tied by masters from around the world are displayed, including the work of over a dozen FFF Buszek award winners.
Fort Benton - Fur traders, gold seekers, and homesteaders came via steamboats to Fort Benton, the 'Head of Navigation' on the Missouri River. A fur and buffalo robe trading post at first, it became the hub for trade and travel for all of Montana and Western Canada. Fort Peck Dam Interpretive Center & Museum - The Center features exhibits on wildlife of the C. M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge, paleontology; including a cast of the Tyrannosaurus rex known as Peck’s Rex, Fort Peck Dam construction history, boomtowns, and homesteading. The Center also showcases the two largest aquariums in Montana, displaying native and game fish of Fort Peck Lake and the Missouri River.
Gallatin County Pioneer Museum - Visitors can step inside an authentic 1870s log cabin and imagine a family living in a 12-by-14 foot home. Also on display is a model of Fort Ellis (1867-1886), an American Indian exhibit, an agricultural room, and a sheriff's room. Other exhibits feature the story of John Bozeman, the Big Horn Gun, early household items, old automobiles and detailed models of wagons used by pioneers.
Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center - The Grizzly Discovery Center's primary mission is to provide visitors to the Yellowstone area have an opportunity to learn about and view live grizzly bears and gray wolves.
Historical Museum At Fort Missoula - The Museum was established in 1975 to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Missoula County, Fort Missoula, and the timber products industry in western Montana for the education, recreation, and cultural enrichment of visitors and area residents. It is located on 32 acres at the core of historic Fort Missoula. The Museum has over 22,000 objects in its collection.
Holter Museum of Art - The Holter Museum of Art serves Montana and neighboring states with quality visual arts exhibitions. The program includes all media, brings national and international exhibits into the region, and provides a much needed venue for local and regional artists.
Lewis and Clark N.H.T. Interpretive Center - Located on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River in Giant Springs Heritage State Park. The 25,000 square foot building includes 5,500 square feet of permanent exhibit hall, a 158-seat theater, an education room for hands-on activities, retail store, administrative area, and 1,600 square foot traveling exhibit hall.
Livingston Depot Center - The Depot Center Museum operates from May to October, providing historic and cultural programs for the benefit of Park County residents and visitors form around the world. In the winter months, the Depot seves as a community cultural center, hosting such diverse events as concerts, banquets, holiday programs, and weddings.
Marcus Daly Mansion - The home has over 50 rooms with 25 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, 7 fireplaces. The home is three stories for a total of 24,000 square feet, plus a full cement basement. Some of the main rooms include a large living room, a music room, a formal dining room a sun room, a trophy room which was added in 1914, an upstairs sitting room and a third floor billiard hall.
Miracle of America Museum - Miracle of America Museum and Pioneer Village is Western Montana's largest museum with over 100,000 items! The museum tracks America's progress from the Walking-Plow to Walking on the Moon. The museum is open daily year-round.

The Moss Mansion Museum - Step into history with a one-hour guided tour of the Moss Mansion Historic House Museum. The tour captures early turn-of-the-century life as the Preston Boyd Moss family lived it. Visitors see original draperies, fixtures, furniture, Persian carpets and artifacts displayed in the 1903 red sandstone structure.

National Museum of Forest Service History - From the time the Forest Reserves were set aside in 1891, our nation's forests and range lands have had a rich, colorful history. The National Museum of Forest Service History (NMFSH) seeks to construct a facility that will capture and interpret this history for future generations. The goal is to dedicate the Museum Complex during 2005, The 100th Anniversary of the USDA Forest Service.
Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana - The Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana was established in 1998 to discover and memorialize the history and culture of the Flathead Reservation and early Montana. It is designed for the enrichment, education, and recreation of local residents and visitors.
Peter Yegen Jr. Yellowstone County Museum - The Museum's Exhibits/Archives include materials specific to Northern Plains Indian Tribes, western expansion, mining, cattle/sheep herding industries, transportation industries, military (1870-1950's), various medical fields, music, textiles, household goods and personal goods.
Phillips County Museum - Displays include early plains Indian artifacts, homesteading days, ranching and farming in Phillips County, mining, early day schools, mercantile, doctor's office, and many wildlife mounts. The museum also houses a very fine dinosaur collection and many marine fossils found in the area.
Powder River H.S. Museum / Mac's museum - The museum contains many valuable historic collections including historic photos and books, Indian artifacts, old guns and ammunition, buggies, old autos, and more. Mac's Museum is a one-man collection of 22,000 sea shells (largest west of the Mississippi), 1723 arrowheads from nearly every state, 2230 mineral specimens, artifacts, bird eggs, butterflies, and much more.
Sheridan County Museum - Sheridan County Museum is dedicated to the preservation of Montana’s pioneer heritage. The museum also displays works of art by local artists. The museum features a mural painted by a local artist, Bob Southland. Measuring 74 by 4 feet, the mural portrays the story of Sheridan County from the time of the early native Americans until the present era.
Valley County Pioneer Museum - Valley county has a very rich, colorful, and eventful history. Ranging from Lewis and Clark to cowboys and Indians, the railroad, Ft. Peck dam, and the site of one of the major dinosaur finds of the century, valley county pioneer museum reflects the entire community's history.
Western Heritage Center - The Western Heritage Center, in downtown Billings, is a regional museum interpreting and reflecting life in the Yellowstone River Valley. The Center cares for a collection of over 16,000 artifacts which provide a tangible record of the region's past.
World Museum of Mining - The World Museum Of Mining, a national historical site, is dedicated to preserving the mining, ethnic, and social history of Butte, Montana. Yellowstone Historic Center - The Yellowstone Historic Center seeks to understand, preserve and interpret the unique cultural heritage of West Yellowstone, the Hebgen Lake Basin and their connection to the development of transportation and visitation to Yellowstone National Park. The Center will develop a new museum to house collections, preserving and interpreting them through display and educational programs.
