Ohio is so diverse that it has something for every traveler. The northern side of Ohio borders onto Lake Erie and with the great Ohio River and many other rivers flowing through the state, water recreation is abundant. All over the state visitors will discover amusement parks renowned for their bigger than life roller coasters, like Cedar Point in Sandusky and Paramount's Kings Island near Cincinnati. Dayton is the home to the United States Air Force Museum, one of the oldest and largest aviation museums in the world. Allen Memorial Art Museum - Founded in 1917, the Allen Memorial Art Museum (AMAM) is now ranked among the finest college or university collections in the nation, and is one of the greatest cultural assets of Oberlin College. The comprehensive collection, which contains over 11,000 works that span the entire history of art, is particularly strong in the areas of 17th-century Dutch and Flemish painting, European art of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, contemporary American art, and Old Master and Japanese prints.
American Classical Music Hall of Fame - The American Classical Music Hall of Fame, a national institution, is dedicated to honoring and celebrating the many facets of American classical music. The Hall of Fame seeks to recognize those who have made significant contributions to American classical music.
American Whistle Corporation Tours - American Whistle Corporation is the only manufacturer of metal whistles in the United States. Visitors can take a guided tour and see "American Classics" being made. You'll have some fun, see some fascinating machinery, and watch a small manufacturing company operate. Aullwood Audubon Center & Farm - Aullwood is an environmental education center whose goal is to promote the protection of birds, other wildlife and the habitats on which they depend. The Bicycle Museum of America - The Bicycle Museum of America features one of the largest private collections of bicycles in the world. Canton Classic Car Museum - The Canton Classic Car Museum is more than just a building filled with classic automobiles. The museum also houses a unique array of memorabilia that reflects a nation in transition. Music in the air - Since 1973, Music in the Air, a program of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, has been providing programs throughout the Columbus community for the whole family. More than 100 free outdoor performances and festivals are held Memorial Day through Labor Day and feature a variety of music, dance, drama and programs for children.
NASA Glenn Research Center - Since 1971, NASA Visitor Centers have provided information to the public on NASA aerospace programs and their benefits to humanity. The NASA Glenn Visitor Center opened its doors to the public in 1976 and has an estimated annual attendance of 150,000.
National Inventors Hall of Fame - The National Inventors Hall of Fame features hands-on interactive exhibits and displays, each encouraging visitors to explore the ideas of discovery, creativity, and invention. Also featured is the Hall of Fame, which showcases inventors who have significantly changed our lives for the better.
The National Aviation Hall of Fame - The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) nominates and enshrines individuals in recognition of achievement in the development of aviation.
National Heisey Glass Museum - Visitors are treated to breathtaking arrangements of Heisey glassware featuring hundreds of patterns and all known colors. Elegant cuttings, etchings and engravings, as well as experimental pieces, can also be seen.
National Packard Museum - The National Packard Museum commemorates the Packard family, The Packard Motor Car, and other Packard enterprises which have influenced the growth and history of both Warren, Ohio and the American Automotive Industry.
National Underground Railroad Freedom Center - The Underground Railroad will be the core experience, but the exhibits will also include history galleries on pre-slavery African Kingdoms as well as post-slavery freedom movements in America, Poland, South Africa, India, etc. Anticipated opening in Cincinnati in 2004.
Nautica Entertainment Complex - The Nautica Entertainment Complex is a mixed use waterfront development located on the West Bank of Cleveland's Flats. Perry's Cave - Perry's Cave is a natural limestone cave which lies 52 feet below the surface of South Bass Island in Lake Erie. The cave is 208 feet long by 165 feet wide; the walls, ceiling and floor are heavily encrusted with calcium carbonate deposited by centuries of water dripping from the ceiling. An underground Lake is also located within the cave. 20 minute guided tours are available.
Pro Football Hall of Fame - The Pro Football Hall of Fame serves as a hallowed honoring spot for the greats of the pro football world. Two large galleries in the five-building complex are devoted to the display of the niches of the enshrines of the Hall.

Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center - Located at the Spiegel Grove estate of the 19th President in Fremont, the center is home to America's first Presidential Library. The estate features the Rutherford B. Hayes home, museum and library.
The Santa Maria - The Santa Maria is one of the world's most authentic, museum-quality representations of Christopher Columbus' flagship used when he set sail in 1492. SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park - Long before the arrival of Europeans, the Miami Valley was home to native peoples. Archaeological excavations at a site near the Great Miami River uncovered evidence of an 800-year-old village built by the Fort Ancient Indians. SunWatch Indian Village, a National Historic Landmark, is a reconstruction of that settlement of long ago.

Topiary Garden in Old Deaf School Park - Old Deaf School Park in downtown Columbus, is the site of a unique arts project. Georges Seurat's Famous post impressionist painting, A Sunday On The Island Of La Grande Jatte, is created in topiary. It is the only topiary interpretation of a painting in existence. This "landscape of a painting of a landscape" consists of 54 topiary people, eight boats, three dogs, a monkey, a cat and a real pond. The largest figure is 12' tall.
