Plum Grove Historic Farm - Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Plum Grove was built in 1844 as the retirement home of Gov. Robert Lucas, the first territorial governor of Iowa. The seven-room Greek Revival house has been restored with pieces representative of the 1844-1853 period, when the site was home to the Lucases.

Rensselaer Russell House Museum - Nestled in the heart of northeast Iowa is a small jewel of American mid-Victorian architecture. This lovely brick structure, inhabited by three generations of Russells, is one of the oldest homes in Black Hawk County. Starr's Cave Nature Center - Starr's Cave Park and Preserve is a 200 acre area just outside of Burlington, Iowa.
